Knitting with this lush merino wool and its hand-spun feel will give your handcrafted item a unique and beautiful finish.
During my recent Christmas break, I was inspired by the sea air and long winter beach walks – Time & Tide on the seashore! And I’d been itching to get started in creating new things with our fabulous new fat and thin yarn that had arrived just before Christmas, and during our fantastically busy time of shipping off the last of the festive season’s orders. Now I could create like crazy!
First creation of the holiday was a bed throw and I used 20mm knitting needles to create a lush and sensorial blanket, perfectly showcasing the undulating fat and thin yarn effect that gives Time & Tide its unique hand-spun feel.
Then came the BIG cardi that I’d been dying to try! I loved how this turned out, so comfy and snuggly – and I’m just busy writing up the pattern so that this can be available soon. Big cardis are perennial favourites and this one is no exception!
Hot off the needles that followed the big cardi, I made this new sweater with ‘Time & Tide’ fat and thin yarn. This, too, will have a pattern written up so that it can also be listed on our website and selling sites for you to enjoy.
