Sophia The Hippo Knitting Kit. Sophia has been designed to be knitted up in our Cotton Candy (100% cotton) yarn. She is part of our safari collection, and her pattern has been designed for knitters who have mastered the basics of the craft and are looking for a new exciting project.

Our favourite feature to this design has to be Sophia's contrasting inners to her tiny ears. Once knitted up, this huggable hippopotamus will make an adorable handmade gift.

Skill Level: Easy

Stitches Used: knit; kxb knit into the back of the foll x number sts; kb knit into the back of the stitch, KFB make one by knitting into the front and the back of the same stitch; k2tog knit two together; k2togtbl knit two together through back loops; psso pass slipped stitch over; p purl; ssk slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over.
